Horning Brothers has been developing residential and commercial properties for over 55 years.
Horning Brothers started building small 16 unit residential properties in Northeast and Southeast Washington, DC and expanded to nationally recognized projects throughout the Metropolitan area and Frederick, MD. The Saratoga Apartments in Northwest DC was recognized nationally for the quality of its architecture. The historic renovation of Tivoli Theater was awarded the Washington DC Real Estate Deal of the Year and for having the largest economic impact in the region—being the catalyst for the revitalization of Columbia Heights.
Horning Brothers currently has three projects in various stages of development and planning:
The Ravenna is a 213 unit luxury apartment building with 13,000 square feet of retail on the first floor in the historic Brookland district of Washington, DC. The project is expected to open in early 2018. Horning Brothers worked with Phil Esocoff to design a building that complemented the area’s existing homes, Catholic University and other local institutions.
Northgate Crossing is a planned 300,000 square foot retail center located on Route 15 in Frederick, MD. The Center is at an interchange under construction at Monocacy Boulevard.
